  1. That does look good. The part that cracked me up but I’m sure was used for effect was the analog modem sounds in the last scene.
    I highly doubt that the new super hackers out there are using dial up but maybe I’m wrong. Maybe that’s the best way to get in.

  5. Anon, if you don’t know what your talking about don’t speak, it makes you look stupid. Mac’s have a semi stable operating system. A few of us use them for a challenge when windows XP is to damn easy. If you have ever worked for the federal reserve you would know the ins and outs of the MacOS and would know that when an operating system is out there that people think is un-hackable its like we are in a candy store.

  6. King-Z3, your statement of “if you have worked on a federal reserve……MacOS…..” makes you sound dumb. If you are using windows ( as per, “A few of us use it….”), and you call yourself a hacker, you are nothing more than a scriptkiddy with delusions of grandeur. So do not say, “We use it when windows XP is so damn easy” as it is an insult to the hacker community. Hackers using mac is rare, as there are better operating systems suited for the tasks. ( and i do NOT mean windows )

  10. No I was actually looking for that too. The release date I mean. And the rest of you. BAH grow up. Can only call your self a hacker if you only use linux and never use windows? BS and more BS. Skids flame, hackers inform & are curious to learn. Docu looks cool by the way, just can’t wait for a release date. Oh & I thought that the core of Mac OS was linux based, so if the shell runs the same why couldn’t it be used as a stable hacking environment?

  11. You all are fucking dumb shits. The Mac OS is a BSD derivative and includes a BASH shell. Adept, yes it can be used to hack just like every other OS out there. Windows as much as i hate to say it can be used just as much as a linux or BSD based environment (Depending on the amount of modification you are willing to do.).

  12. @seek3r – Agreed. There are actually a few powerful security tools available for Windows. The Mac OS is better for me than Windows because I write a lot of bash scripts. Linux is my comfort zone though!

I see a lot of comments on here about your a script kiddie if you use windows, I think that is b/s first and for most you need to think about what a hacker is and what the goal of a hacker is for one. most hackers I talk with want to know and work with every OS for the simple fact whats the best way to learn new tricks??? PLAY WITH ALL OS!!! the more you know the better hacker you will be. so my advice is have a test box or two with dif. OS on them and play around with them all and see what carries over to the next one.

  15. there is no different in OS’s there are hackers that use mac for bashing and other thing.. it really does not matter what OS they are using it is possible on ANY OS although you have to know some basic programming languages to be able to actually find exploits on a mac tbh, i’ve never had a mac so I can’t say ;p

  17. I don’t know if I agree that Macs are just as vulnerable. I would say that a highly skilled cracker can probably break a mac just as fast as they can break a windows machine. However, the process of breaking a windows machine is so much simpler for the average script kiddie…That is why there are so many tools for cracking windows passwords. Just the way that root accounts work in mac, UNIX, and Linux computers is far more secure than the way that windows handles administrator accounts.

Thing is macs are the most vulnerable OS out there know why? simply because it’s not targeted as much as windows and thus patches are not created by apple to insure that that system running mac is secure simply because they have not happened yet. exploits do exist for mac based platforms/linux and other OS’s out there and yes as you can see in the trailer for code2600 a mac used for hacking.. “Ow macs can’t be used for hacking says the dumbass” yes they can any OS can be modified and used to bash/expploit/crack it’s possible i’ve never used a mac in my life for such things but my friend does. but w/e can’t wait for the film looks very informative and great!
